On October 20, 2012, there will be a walk (about 1.8 miles) to raise awareness and funds for Lewy Body Dementia from 9:00 a.m. – noon, pre-registration at 8:30. This will be taking place at Nelson Park and finishing up at the Festival Gardens across from the Abilene Zoo. After the walk there will be food, a speaker & entertainment, and a raffle with numerous items that have been generously donated by surrounding businesses. There is a playground and sand volleyball court for the kids, please come out with the whole family and support this walk for awareness. The cost is $25 a person which includes a shirt.
