Prayer, Bible Study, and Worship: Spiritual Disciplines And Security Systems

For the Christian, Prayer is our honest and humble admission of God’s sovereignty and goodness (Luke 11: 1-11; 1 Jn 5:14-15; Heb 4:14-16). Bible Study is our honest and humble admission that life and truth did not come from man, but were given to man by our Creator (Jer 10:23; Prov 3:5-6; 23:23; Jn 6:63; 17:17). So, life is on God’s terms not ours, and the truth comes from God’s mouth not man’s desires. Worship is the honest and humble engaging of all these truths and God’s redemptive nature (Jno 4:23-24; Rom 1:21-31).
