This is a new year, 2015. None of us have ever seen or lived the year of 2015 before. We do not even know what tomorrow brings, if it should come (James 4:13, 14). We do not know in this new year what we will find employment or unemployment, sickness or health, friendship or loneliness, profit or loss. What we do know is that God is the eternal God and Jesus Christ has already been wherever will may journey in 2015.

For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. 18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. . . .

14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are — yet was without sin. 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Heb 2:17-18; 4:14-16  NIV).

Wherever 2015 finds us in this journey of life, if we are in Christ Jesus, then we have help in our suffering its temptations. In Him, we have access to God so that we receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Regardless of what new trials and troubles appear for us in 2015, Jesus Christ is already there, because He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb 13:8)!
