Fruit to the Father’s Glory

God has likened His purpose in His people since the early days Israel, the nation (Exod 15:17; Psa 80:8; Isa 5:2; Jer 2:21). Jesus taught His apostles the night He was betrayed, He Himself was the “true vine” of God’s purpose for a fruitful people. God’s illustration and His eternal purpose for the church make it clear that the Father desires in His people fruit that glorifies Him (Luke 6: 1-49; Jn 15:8; Eph 3:20-21).
