Two of our young men received Academic All State Football recognition, congratulation to Cody Buczyna was placed on the first team and Russ Russell on the second team. Qualifications include having a minimum grade average of 92, must be a senior, and be of good moral character. We are so proud of these two guys.

*Wednesday, November 30th: High School Youth will meet in McKenna Russell’s home
Youth Series Sunday, November 13th, in Cross Plains: High School & Middle School; Lane will leave the building at 2:30 (please note the time change); meal will be provided
Wednesday, November 16: the High School Youth will meet in the home of Cary Bryan. There were 17 last night at the Chaney’s home.
Wednesday, November 2, 7:00 p.m.: High School Youth & parents will meet at Billy & Sarah Lucas’ house, 1406 South 11th Street, for hot dogs and devo.
Sunday, September 25th: High School will go to 9:00 Service at University Church; leave after our 6:00 service; bring money to eat
Sunday, October 9th: High School & Middle School will travel to Cherokee, Texas for the Early Christian Worship; leave immediately following communion; wear comfortable clothing but appropriate church attire (jeans, nice shirt). You will need money for lunch (evening meal is provided). Lane needs to know who is going – adults & youth; Sunday, October 2, is the last day to let him know. Plan on getting home around 10:30 p.m.
Don’t forget, we need your permission slip if you plan on going!!
Cross Connect Youth Series: Sunday, September 18, will be held at HWY 36 Church of Christ, meal will be provided. Lane will take the van, be at the building by 3:30.
5th Quarter: Friday, September 16th, is homecoming; Lane needs a lot of help with this event. Parents, please show your support, if you can help let him know. From our congregation we need volunteers and desserts (cookies, cupcakes, anything that can be eaten with your fingers). The family center will be open Friday from 6:00-7:30 or you can bring your dessert Wednesday, no one will be in the office Thursday or Friday
We will be sending all the students and teachers back to school and ending their summer Thursday, August 18th, starting at 5:00 p.m. with hot dogs in the family center. Ages 2-92 come enjoy the Family Fellowship.
