We want to honor all our teachers from cradle roll through the adult class teachers with a luncheon Sunday, April 25^th, after morning service in the family center.  Everyone is invited and asked to bring a couple of potluck dishes and a dessert

Danny & Cathy Malone were awarded “Farm Family of the Year” by the Taylor County Extension Service.  They received their award at the Farm & RAnch Show in Abilene.

-Thank you Christian brothers and sisters for the prayers during my time of trial.  I just praise God for such a wonderful recovery!  Diane Miller

-I wanted to extend a very warm thank you to all those who helped make the Singles Valentine Banquet a success.  There were so many who donated supplies, food, and decorations.  I also want to thank those who donated time to help practice, decorate, set up cook, serve, and clean-up. The youth and their families had 3 work days to make this banquet happen and they did a wonderful job.  When you see them please thank them personally for using their talent and their time for God’s glory. 60 people were served that day!  Good job church family!  In Him, Amber Bryan

The ladies will meet Saturday, Feb. 20^th, 11:00 at the building and travel to Sweetwater.

*KC & Brandi Morris have a new son, Cooper, born Oct 22, he weighed 9 lbs.  He is the great-grandson of Billie Tarpley and the grandson of Buster & LeeAnn Tarpley.

*George & Brenda Smith have another new arrival, great-grandson, Carter Lane, son of Elise Hurst, arrived last Friday, (10/30).  Everyone is doing fine.

Our congratulations to Cathy Malone, winner of the Teacher Tribute award sponsored by Arrow Ford, Abilene Reporter-News, KEAN 105 and KTXS of Abilene.  She was nominated by Kami Pursley, granddaughter of Philip & Jeanette Pursley.

Thanks to God who added Jacob Toliver to our church family, he was baptized into Christ Sunday (10/11) by his Dad.  We welcome our new brother in Christ.  Jacob is the son of Kacey & Katie Toliver and is a 2^nd grader at Merkel Elementary School.
