First meeting for the groups is this Sunday (3/4) immediately following evening service. Your group leader will notify you where the meeting will take place and what to bring for the meal. If you did not sign up and would like to be involved contact one of our elders. Groups will meet the first Sunday of each month.
Teacher Tribute
Congratulations to Ginger Bellah on receiving KTXS Teacher Tribute last week. She is one of many amazing teachers in our congregation. Ginger, thank you for your wonderful example and teaching our children.
Elder Selection
The current Elders would like for you, the congregation, to be considering who you would like to suggest as additions to the eldership. It is felt to be a need to have more elders to serve the church here as spiritual shepherds.
We prayerfully ask you to be reading the scriptures regarding the eldership and be thinking about who in the congregation meets the standards of scripture and would make a good addition to work with us.
Suggested scriptures: Titus 1:5-9; I Peter 5:1-4; Acts 20:28-31; I Timothy 3:1-7.
A date will soon be announced for turning in the names. Thanks and God bless you and all of us as we work together in this body.
Elders:

5 The reason I left you in Crete was that you might straighten out what was left unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you. 6 An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient. 7 Since an overseer is entrusted with God’s work, he must be blameless—not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. 8 Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. 9 He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.
Ladies, THANK YOU so much for coming to our special tea party Wednesday during ladies’ class. We had 36 honored guest in attendance and it was a great fellowship time. Thank you to those who helped set-up and clean-up. Look for future exciting classes and after service fellowship when the men & children will be joining us. Remember do God’s will in your life every day. If you have the desire to serve Him, He will give you the strength you need. Cynthia
