What is the value of what you have in Christ? Is it valuable above all else for you? Earth holds no treasures, but perish with using . . . Does He hold you together in all things?

Valuable in Times of Trial

Rather than defeating us, the disasters of this life can afford us opportunity to reflect on the value of our relationship with Christ.

Valuable When Struggle With Forgiveness

How can we treat others out of selfishness, when Christ has treated us so much tenderness and compassion. We are offered mercy and grace to help us in our times of need (Heb 4:16), how can we then not show it to others? Cf. Matt 18:21 – 35 –

When should I show mercy? Only when it is needed! “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.”

Valuable When Our Love for Christ Grows Weak

Remember He forgives you in Christ! – Luke 7:41, 42 – Who will love Him more?

Valuable When We Seek to Understand God

God’s call to Israel for salvation from a selfish heart –  Ezek 18:31, 32 – Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel? 32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!

Where and How can they get a new spirit and new heart? The LORD! According to His own word can they live! God’s own promise that the gospel will accomplish His desire and achieve the purpose for which He sent it -Isa 55:10, 11; Ezek 36:26 – just as the rain and snow . . . so is my word — I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

 Valuable for Salvation!

What can wash away my sins?

What can make me whole again?

NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS!
