Seeking Fulfillment

In a world full of people who are groping for answers and fulfillment, it is so satisfying to look at God’s Word for the true answers to life’s problems. People today search the whole world over to find that something to bring them lasting happiness, only to have it destroyed by rust and eaten by moths. After all the searching that man will do, the most obvious is too often overlooked, it is Jesus the Son of God! Peter did say in Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.”
So many other names of individuals have been named in times past, but they have no claim to offer salvation. Simon Peter put it this way in John 6:68-69 “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.” Of all the searching that men do, it’s a shame when they miss the most obvious? If we build our lives on Him, we will have great success, the success of salvation. Praise God!!
Now I leave you with the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 118:21-26 “I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation. The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Save us, we beseech you, O LORD! O LORD, we beseech you, give us success! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD. We bless you from the house of the LORD.” Have a great week!
